The Grunin Center for the Arts works with community organizations that wish to rent the theater. It is a professionally staffed, air-conditioned proscenium theatre with excellent sightlines, comfortable seating, and terrific acoustics.

The theatre is suitable for various programs, including classical and popular music concerts, recitals, dance performances, theatrical performances, lectures, and meetings.

The Main Stage Theater is the perfect venue for hosting your performance or a larger business meeting. With a capacity of 460, it is ideal for large gatherings.

Available Spaces

Main Stage Theater

  • OCC Groups: N/A
  • Nonprofit Organizations: $2500 per day
  • For-profit organizations: $3750 per day

Main Stage Theater rental includes use of the lobbies, two dressing rooms, private bathrooms, and basic sound/light equipment. Please see below for a list of additional items available for rent.

Main Stage Lobby

  • For-profit organizations: $200 per hour

Green Room (A117)

  • OCC Groups: N/A
  • Nonprofit Organizations: $100 per hour

Staff Costs

The following hourly rates apply to Grunin Center staff and all rental categories. Rates listed are per person per hour and have a 4-hour minimum. The venue will determine staffing based on event needs.

  • Technician: $37.00 per hour
  • House Manager: $23.00 per hour

OCC reserves the right to mandate additional personnel, such as security, custodians, on-site supervisors, etc., depending on the size and scope of the event. The rental client will not incur custodial or security costs if such personnel are on normal duty during the event and extra staffing is not required.
